Gardening in small spaces; cucumbers. Use tomato cages and train your cucumbers to grow up instead of out. This method allows you to maximize your crop in just a few square feet of space. As the cucumber plant grows, carefully move the vines up, through and around the tomato cage. Also, place the tendrils on and/or around the wire (see last picture) so the plant can hold on. Do not remove the tendrils. Happy Gardening!
