Oh, Fiddleheads!

FORAGE.Ever pick fiddleheads? Ostrich ferns are popping up! A delicious spring spirally harvest! After briefly blanching them, can cook them as a side dish sautéed in butter or throw them in breakfast scrambles or stir fry’s. Another way I like them is pickled, just use any pickling recipe that sounds good to you. I picked these along with some Deer Heart leaf. What are some other ways you like to prepare fiddleheads?
