Foraging…For Acorns!
“Here’s a sneak peek of the humble beginning of what will be homemade acorn rolls for a wild food based Thanksgiving meal. We’ve challenged ourselves to use as many local wild ingredients as we can in our meal this year. The rolls will (hopefully) be adorned with various wild seeds depending on what we find when the rain passes.
The next batch of acorn flour is for Thanksgiving pie crusts and charcuterie tray crackers.”
